How does my pet develop arthritis?

Osteoarthritis is the most common type of arthritis that pets suffer from. Osteoarthritis comes from the wearing out of the cartilage between the joints. This causes the joints to rub against each other and can be painful for your pet. Arthritis is very common in pets with joint injuries, infections or inflammatory diseases, older pets are also prone to arthritis.
